You are so on top of things. We have to do our decorating in stages so we don't lose steam. We got the tree on Saturday, we put the lights on this evening, we'll put the ornaments on in a couple days. We hope to be done in a week!

I love the ornament! I have one that my daughter bought me at a Girl Scout function for about $1. It's my favorite ornament!

My decorations aren't up yet, still working on it.

What a nice tree!

We got an artificial tree last year and I love it! No mess, no sap, no watering!

Homemade presents to moms are always a hit. I told my mom I was making one of her presents this year (her bday is just after xmas) and she was very excited!

My mom and I went through some ornaments from the tree when I was a kid and unfortunately they had gotten wet. My first crosstitched ornament was no more! Nice pictures!

I do love homemade ornaments.

One year my sisters, mom and me made quite a few hand made ornaments. I still love to see them on the tree.

I don't get home much for Christmas anymore, but this year I will be visiting after Christmas, so hopefully my mom's tree will still be up.

We will get our tree this weekend. We have had a Christmas open house for the last three years. This year is our fourth annual party. It is always so festive.

Nice tree! We have our tree (we use a real one), but haven't put it up yet. Maybe that will be a weekend tackle! Love the cute ornament too.

I just love that mom ornament. So cute. Even my cute little daughter made a beautiful ornament for me last year. Christmas tree it is important that you personalize it in some way so that it can be something that is pleasing to look at and right for creating the festive spirit.

Your tree is adorable, but tell me (since I'm nosy), do you not use that door behind it? I have the hardest time finding a good place for my tree too!

I hope you don't have to use that door, lol. The tree looks great!

Love the tree! We don't have ours up yet. Maybe by next week...I tend to kill living things so I try to wait on the tree. hehe
