It's time for Tackle It Tuesday with 5 Minutes for Mom .
Now, you may or may not have noticed that my presence on the blogosphere last week was slim. There is a reason for that. In the beginning of the year, I wrote this post about how I needed to get organized to let my creative juice flow freely. Well last week, I was working on my grocery management for this house. We needed this to improve our physical and financial health. To that regard, I implemented two new systems.
1. The first was the Living Cookbook . I love this software! It manages your recipes, calculates nutrition, helps with meal planning, tracks inventory and creates grocery lists.! It does everything but the dishes:-)
2. The second thing is The Grocery Game . This little tool makes coupon clipping and implementing a breeze!
I am so organized now, I don't know what I am going to do with all this free time:-) Hee, hee, hee.
A Young Girl's Vision for Her Room

When our oldest graduated from college, we promised our youngest that she

I know! You can bake more goodies and picture me salivating on the other end! LOL
It feels nice when you get yourself organized like that. We've been organizing for 3 months now and it's all starting to come together. We still have a few things to do but it's starting to pay off. WTG on getting organized. You seem like a very organized efficient person ever since I started reading your blog.
Happy Monday
You are way to organized girl!
WTG!! I'm definitely checking out the Living Cookbook. :D
I am checking out the Living Cookbook too! Great tackle!
Great, I have used the grocery game before and its very helpful. Good luck to you and your organization.
As a matter of fact, I DID notice. Glad to hear you're all organized though.
I love organizing!
(Can't log into your other blog for some reason. Says I'm not authorized?)
I need to do this. I am going to come back and check out that site.
I just celebrated my 1st year anniversary of Grocery Gaming & I love it! I saved over $9,000 on groceries last year.
Great tackles!
It takes a little work to simplify a process, but once you do, it is soooo worth it. Hmm... I need to put this into practice too. I've been putting off meal planning organization. I think the time is right, though. Thanks for the cyber nudge. ;)
I am totally off my game when it comes to grocery shopping and meal planning. I will have to check out the Living Cookbook. Congrats to you and thanks for the tip!
The Living Cookbook sounds very cool, I like that it creates grocery lists. I will have to check it out!
Oh I'm going to have to check into that Grocery Game.
I haven't heard of the recipe software you mentioned, but I took a quick look at it, and I think it sounds amazing. I you'll do review of after you've used it for a couple months.
You'll just ahve to start another blog to fill your days...
Wait.
A THIRD blog...
Way to go. What a great feeling that would be :)
I'm not into using coupons but I think this Living Cookbook sounds interesting. I'm going to check it out.
I started cooking recipes from the Southbeach Diet Cookbook again. I'm not following the diet's guidelines of step 1,2,3. I'm just implimenting healthier meals into my weekly plan rather than easier recipes that may not be so healthy. I'll have to check out these programs. Good job Susie!
Thanks for sharing those links with us! I'm going to check both of them out. Wonderful tackle!
Yep, organization! lol... It does help.
You are soooo organized... I aspire to be more like you!
Great job - I've been working on "saving money" on groceries for a year......and now I hardly have to shop anymore. Never used the grocery game though....didn't want to pay someone. HaHa
